Originally from Spruce Grove (Alberta, Canada), Chelsea Henitiuk is a recently retired member of the Canadian National Freestyle Ski Team. Now calling Vancouver (BC, Canada) home, Chelsea is attending full time studies at the University of British Columbia. Chelsea is currently in the 4th year of her Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Psychology.

As a young athlete Chelsea was able to excel in park, pipe as well as moguls. She chose to focus on moguls and became a member of the women’s Canadian freestyle Team for 10 years. After gaining valuable experience at three World Championship events and forerunning in the Vancouver Olympic Games she had a breakout season on the NorAm circuit in 2010. Following this, Chelsea continued to ski on the World Cup tour for 3 more seasons and competed in 43 World cup events. In this time Chelsea reached the top 10 in six World Cup events, with her best result being a 4th place finish in Mont. Gabriel, QC. Chelsea’s athletic performance along with her vibrant personality made her a visible figure on the World Cup tour and throughout Canadian athletics.
